Printer Maintenance Programs

KSL offers responsive and flexible on-site service options to maintain printers and typewriters.

KSL believes that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" - so Preventative Maintenance (PM) is a key ingredient to our service philosophy...proactive PMs are integrated into our contracts and recommended to be part of any service program.

Full Service Maintenance Agreement (FSMA)

This comprehensive program provides complete labor and component replacement coverage on-site for the entire 12 or 24-month period during normal business hours. Consumables are not included. A common expiration date simplifies administration. Additional systems and peripherals may be added to the agreement during the contract period on a pro-rated basis, using the common expiration date.

Labor Only Maintenance Agreement (LO)

This program is similar to the FSMA as it provides labor (only) coverage on-site for the contract period. Components, if needed are billed to the client.

Time & Materials (T&M)

Hardware repair is billed by the hour with components billed as needed.

Retainer

Similar to our T&M program, but discounted based on initial retainer amount. All parts and labor charged to retainer, which must remain positive.

Typewriter Repair

Typewriters are repaired on a flat rate per hour per machine. The first machine is billed at $125 per hour; each additional machine worked on during the same visit is $50. Parts are extra.
